Armenistis camping

Armenistis is situated directly over the sea. For many people this place symbolizes carefree Greek summer and entertainments. In the evening the pleasure degree rises: there are lots of musical parties where DJs play not only Greek, but also foreign music. The cinema works in the winter. And at night from any camping corner the enamored can look at romantic lunar path on a sea smooth surface.

You are sporty and active? The camping offers a set of athletic summer prospects: beach volleyball, basketball, beach football, water sports, footpaths for walks.

If you don’t want to spend the night in tent, you can stay at the mobile country houses equipped with own bathroom, kitchen, conditioner, verandah and court yard. Classical camping fans can pitch a tent in the special site. Vacation in this camping will be the big and joyful life event for any teenager. The especial accent is made on safety.

In a camping territory you will find: restaurant, cafe, snack-bar, bar, supermarket, little shops, doctor services, phone, security service (round the clock), laundry and refrigerators.

Santalahti is a unique five-stars camping in southern Finland.

You can pitch a tent on equal lawn in the pine’s shade. There is a convenient parking with the electric socket for caravans and autohouses on the asphalted platform or on a grass. The part of parking places for autohouses is equipped with a cable television connection.

There you will find all kinds of service. The beach is located only in some tens meters.

Camping territory equipment:

• To summer of 2011 30 new places for autohouses parking, a building with subsidiary premises and 6 comfortable apartments (each is count on 10 persons) will be constructed in Santalahti camping.

The camping is opened all year long.

- During a summer season the center reception is opened all day long from 29.4. to 10/2/2011.

- During a winter season it is necessary to make a preliminary booking not later than for 2 days before arrival.

Arrival 30.12-03.01, price 1050 y.e.

The modernized camping-cottage complex Rastila is located in Vuosaari area in the east part of Helsinki. It has convenient transport communication with the city. You can reach the center of Helsinki with its sights and other objects for visiting just in 18 minutes by the underground.

In camping’s territory, on seacoast and in immediate proximity to it tourists can receive all necessary services, including various possibilities for shopping and entertainments.

In winter camping’s restaurant works only during lunch time.

Luxury cottages were built in 2005.

The cottage’s area: 50 sq.m.

In a cottage you will find one bedroom with a double and a two-story bed, drawing room with upholstered furniture (the sofa is folding), TV, DVD-player, shower, toilet and a sauna. There is a microwave, an electric plate, the refrigerator, a toaster and coffee maker in the kitchen.

Arrival to cottage: 16.00, keys delivery in departure day: 12.00.

During the winter period reception of Rastila camping works daily from 8.00 till 22.00.

At arrival after 22.00 you can get the keys from camping’s guards for an additional payment of 20 у.е.

Bed-clothes and final cleaning are included into cost.

* the medical insurance: – 1 у.е. a day.

* medical + mountain-skiing insurance: – 2 y.e. a day.

The passage: from a frontier point through a 7^th line to Helsinki.

Without reaching a city turn on the first ring road (Keha 1/Ring 1) and drive to the east direction of Itakeskus center. After Itakeskus center move to Vuosaari, to the bridge (in 2 km). After the bridge turn left to a viaduct. Watch on traffic signs “CAMPING”.

Tourists who travel by own cars must register the obligatory car insurance (“Green card”). The insurance is registered directly at offices of the insurance companies or at the border.

French studying in Les Pecheurs

The first program is organized by Les Pecheurs camping. This camping is known and liked by many Frenchmen who are fond of caravanning.

The program is count on 5 or 10 days (days off are included). Every day there are two lessons of the French language in a camping. Students are divided into some groups depending on level of the language knowledge: beginner level, average level and advanced level.

Usually these courses are passed from April, 7th till June, 20th, and also from August, 25th till September, 26th. The five-day course costs 49 euro. Within the limits of Les Pecheurs and Le Moulin des Iscles programs the visitors who have stopped in Le Moulin des Iscles can pass a course in Les Pecheurs.

French studying in La Forge de Sainte-Marie

The second program of the French language studying passes in Champagne region in La Forge de Sainte-Marie camping. The program lasts for five days. Every day special teachers offer participants a new theme for discussion. It is interesting, that discussed themes concern caravanning. So, you will learn French, studying caravanning at the same time. For example, there can be discussed a theme of acquaintance with other travelers. Employment last one or two hours.

These courses are passed since May, 16-20th or since September, 8-12th. The price for one person is 25 euro. If you will study together with your friend, you will pay 45 euro for two people.

Learn French, having a rest. Discuss favorite themes, learn new about caravanning, talking over in language of love.

The castle where the tasting has been passed is situated in the park center which territory averages 200 hectares. This castle and park territory belongs to La Garangeoire camping.

Once a week in May, June and September from 18.30 till 20.00 tourists can make a fascinating trip to wine regions of France. Such trip costs 15 euro. It is better to reserve the trip in advance. Pay special attention on the fact that it is not allowed to bring children to such wine voyage.

Now let’s talk about camping itself. In a camping territory you can enjoy different kinds of rest. For example, you can take part in fishing on the one of three lakes which are located in a camping territory, hire some bicycles at the reception and make a wonderful trip, bathe and lap in an aquapark. There are some warmed up pools at your service.

Think upon the right gear because if you are overloaded with stuff your road to campsite will take much longer even if you are not prepared physically for it.

In accordance with experience it is better to choose the mileage that will make you exhausted.
It is possible to make a reservation of a camping site in advance at RV parks and camping grounds on the way to it.  Remember that camping equipment is not that light therefore take this characteristic feature into consideration. The load must be as light as possible. The tent should be lightweight as well as foam or inflatable pad you will put under the sleeping bag. Take dehydration food with you as it is not that heavy. Or you can choose the route to pass by the stores to be able to acquire products.

The bike should be prepared by you before you go on a trip. This is a good solution to take the mountain bike in case you want to travel on trails.  But lightweight bike will be the better option if the route is along the usual road. Customize your bike instead with heavier weight tires.

Platanes camping suggests you to plunge into The Middle Ages. There is a well-known building site of medieval castle Guedelon near to a camping.

French constructors are building the real medieval castle. It has been decided to recreate a knightly fortress without use of any modern techniques.

Usually medieval castles or something that had remained of them are used as museums or historical sights for inquisitive tourists. They are restored, completely demolished and transferred to a new place.

Creators have decided to build Guedelon without hammer, chisel, ropes, wooden vehicles and horses. It is an idea of archeologist Michel Guyot. Workers count on complete castle building’s finishing by 2023.

The creation of this historical platform has begun ten years ago.

Camping Etoile des Neiges works only during winter time and is intended for those who is going to spend a free time actively playing sports. There is everything for those who are fond of skiing, everything that makes life of the mountain skis fans fine and surprising.

Elevator’s price here is rather small. For 85 euro you could use an elevator during six days unlimited quantity of times. Prices for equipment’s rent and access to a skating rink also are very attractive for tourists. There are special family tariffs too. For example, if two adults will buy the ticket, the child till 12 years will go for a drive free of charge.

In case you go camping for the first time you should be aware of some details to make everything right. You can be confused a bit over the cost. The fact that you have to make separate payments for a tent, for a person and a vehicle can puzzle you.

For instance, a person, who spends night in a tent in the camping site without electricity will have to pay only 5 Euros for a tent and 3 Euros per person. This way it will cost only 8 Euros.

If the couple arrives by car, then they pay 5 Euros for a tent, six Euros for 2 people and only 4 Euros for a vehicle. The total sum will make just fifteen Euros.

If you come with a family of 4 people, the total sum will make 27 Euros.
